Day 1: Arrival in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania

Arrival at Dar es Salaam Airport. Soon after clearing all the immigration procedures at the airport, transfer to the hotel. Accommodation at Tiffany Hotel or similar hotel, bed and breakfast included.

Day 2: Dar es Salaam Mikumi National Park
In the morning, departure from Dar es Salaam to Mikumi National Park, for 4 5 hours drive on comfortable tarmac roads. On arrival in Mikumi, picnic lunch, followed by afternoon game drive in the park.

In the evening, drive to the lodge for dinner and overnight, at Mikumi Safari Lodge, full board included.

Day 3: Mikumi National Park
A full day game drive in the park which always share its abundant wildlife with the visitors. The savannah inside the park allows the eyes to spot wildlife from a great distance, giving wonderful pictures either for your camera, or forever embedded in your memory. Many of Mikumi animals are used to visitors on two legs or four tyres, so here you have the opportunity to meet species like elephant, giraffe, wildebeest, and antelopes and if lucky, predators like lion and leopard.

All accommodations at Mikumi Safari Lodge, full board included.

Day 4: Mikumi Park – Selous Game Reserve
In the morning after breakfast in the lodge, set out for long, but scenic road trip to Selous Game Reserve, one of the world largest protected wildlife areas.

This is a unique drive through mountain rainforest and remote villages, before reaching Selous western entry gate. You will be arriving late afternoon where you can choose between a short walking safari, or a refreshing swim in the lodges pool. You will enjoy a delicious dinner before going to sleep at Selous Kinga Lodge, full board included.

Day 5: Selous Game Reserve
With its more than 50 km2 this area are larger than Belgium. A UNESCO world heritage site, Selous give you extraordinary possibilities for wildlife experiences. Since Selous is a game reserve (not a national park), we have the options of following the herds of animals outside the roads, into their natural habitats.

This full day of game drive always includes tracing for the predators and other wildlife. Accommodation at Selous Kinga Lodge, full board included.

Day 6: Boat ride on Rufiji River Dar es Salaam
In the morning we spend a few hours in a bout at the river, watching hippos, crocodiles and various species of birds before heading back to Dar es Salaam. On the way you will enjoy your delicious lunchbox, and arrival in Dar es Salaam in the late afternoon, night at Tiffany Hotel, bed and breakfast included.

Day7: Transfer to the Airport

Transfer from the hotel to Kilimanjaro International Airport, arrive at the airport on time as indicated on the flight tickets.
